Contract Lifecycle Marketing Manager (1099, 3–4 months)

About the Role

We're expanding our product offerings with a multi-vertical launch this summer, and need an experienced lifecycle marketer to own end-to-end communications execution across multiple verticals and user segments:


  • Launch lifecycle communications — onboarding, education, and engagement journeys (email, push, in-app) that introduce users to our new product, drive activation, and reinforce value post-purchase.
  • Cross-sell growth programs — lifecycle programs that drive product attachment across the existing Hunt, Offroad, and Backcountry user bases, including hypothesis-driven experimentation to learn what works and scale it.


You'll own the Braze build, QA, deployment, and post-launch iteration of every campaign in scope, partnering with vertical marketing leads, Growth Product, analytics, and creative.


What You'll Do

  • Translate launch goals into a cross-channel lifecycle plans and execute against it
  • Build, QA, and deploy email, push, and in-app campaigns and canvases in Braze
  • Design audience segmentation and triggering logic for launch and ongoing cross-sell Experimentation
  • Set up reporting with Amplitude and iterate based on performance


What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of hands-on lifecycle / CRM marketing experience across email, push, and in-app
  • Ability to jump in on day one and make an immediate impact with minimal ramp
  • Direct Braze experience strongly preferred; comparable ESPs considered
  • Track record operating in fast-paced, growth-stage environments with multiple workstreams
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a matrix org with product, analytics, creative, and marketing partners
  • Experience with product analytics tools like Amplitude (or Mixpanel, Heap)


Nice to Have

  • Experience launching a new product or SKU end-to-end
  • Background in subscription, freemium, or membership business models
  • Familiarity with Figma, Asana or Jira, and experimentation platforms (Eppo, Optimizely)
